Telephone, Texas --  Eric Kevin Shannon, 37, passed away Saturday, August 9, 2014.

He lived in Telephone, Texas and was engaged to Rebecca (Becca) Turner.

Eric was born November 16, 1976 in Dallas, Texas and was raised in Fannin County by his late mother, Wanda Shannon and his father Kenneth (Kenny) Shannon of Durant, OK. His is survived by his twelve year old son Dylan Scott Shannon of Denison, Texas and his two sisters, Tammy Shannon Nugent of Bonham, Texas and Laceigh Shannon of Dallas, Texas and his stepmother Jenny Shannon of Durant, OK. He is also survived by so many loving friends, family and close friends he considered family. He was a very loving son, nephew, brother, father and friend. We will miss you terribly, Bubba.

Memorial services for Eric Kevin Shannon will be held on August 15, 2014 at the Elizabeth May room at the American Bank of Texas from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., 120 West Sam Rayburn Drive in Bonham, Texas 75418.
