Park Place Lexus Plano collects school supplies to 'Stuff The Trunk' for Samaritan Inn

PLANO, Texas -- Park Place Lexus Plano is helping Samaritan Inn, Collin County’s only homeless shelter, “Stuff The Trunk” of a Lexus LS with school supplies for children in need. Park Place Lexus Plano, located at 6785 Dallas Parkway, Plano, TX 75024 is accepting donations through Friday, August 15.   

“Park Place always enjoys helping others in our community and this is a great opportunity to support kids,” said Chris Brunner, GM of Park Place Lexus Plano. “We want all the children in Collin County to have a great start to the school year and by having the right school supplies it allows them to focus on learning.”  

Items in need include: binders, pencils, colored pencils, notebooks, backpacks, crayons, notecards, folders, highlighters and lunch boxes.  Cash donations also will be accepted.  

The Samaritan Inn is a holistic program that teaches self-sufficiency and life skills. To assist the needs of individuals and families before, during, and after a homeless situation, The Samaritan Inn provides interactive, in-house programs for its residents and graduates.
