Honey Grove, Texas -- Edna E. Joyce, 78, of Honey Grove, Texas went to be with her Lord and Savior August 2, 2014 at Texoma Medical Center, Denison, TX.  Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 7, 2014 at the First Baptist Church, Honey Grove, Texas.  The Rev. Terry Cunningham will officiate the service. 

Named as active Pallbearers are: Kyle Milford, Steve Thurman, Todd Thurman, Jeff Clark, Michael Blair, Billy Bell, Mark Reese and Jimmy Lon Bates.  The Deacons of First Baptist Church, Honey Grove will serve as honorary pallbearers.  Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Honey Grove, Texas.  Family visitation is scheduled for Wednesday evening, August 6, 2014 from 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel in Honey Grove.

Edna Earl Joyce was born April 9, 1936 to Alvin Travis and Edna Irma (Riddles) Fuller in Paris, TX.  Edna was a banking executive for First State Bank in Honey Grove for many years and was a respected business woman.  She was a faithful longstanding member of the First Baptist Church in Honey Grove, and will be missed by many of her friends and relatives.

Edna is survived by her husband Bobby of the home, son, Marshall Joyce and wife Karla of Honey Grove, son, Travis “Skippy” Peebles of Honey Grove, grandsons Marshall Hunter Joyce, Dillon Lee Joyce and Cody Blake Joyce, all of Honey Grove. She is also survived by one sister, Ellen “Sissy” Day of Arlington, TX.
