Renlita Doors is one of the businesses that City of Bonham officials proudly point to as a local success story.  Since the company located in Bonham 6 years ago, Renlita has quietly tripled its work force and expanded the company's production facility from 10,000 square feet to more than 46,000 square feet.

Renlita Doors products include a range of versatile commercial doors, industrial doors, residential doors, retail doors, sliding doors and special-purpose doors. Renlita Doors custom engineers and fabricates vertical and horizontal doors to meet customer specifications and twice a year this company hosts regional distributers to discuss sales, marketing and installation. Every available room in Bonham was booked this week to accommodate Renlita's staff.

Renlita Overhead Door Company has a 50-year history in Australia and the North American branch of the company, owned by Byron and Beverly Royse, had been located in North Carolina for 15 years when they began looking for a more centralized location with an available workforce and that had easy access to major transportation routes.

Mrs. Royse mentioned this decision to relocate to her brother, local custom builder Curtis Smith, who in turn arranged for the business owners to visit Bonham and meet with members of BEDCo and Bonham Industrial Foundation.
