Bonham -- After a long, cold winter, North Texas gardeners are ready to forget icy roads and start thinking about warm sunshine on homegrown tomatoes. The 10th Annual Garden, Lawn & Home Expo scheduled for Saturday, March 29 at Bonham Civic Center is the perfect opportunity to purchase your favorite flowers, vegetables and herbs at very reasonable prices.

Lee Brown, Certified Arborist New Leaf Tree & Shrub Care, will be speaking during the two afternoon sessions.

"I will be speaking on the do's and don'ts of tree care, and how common mistakes affect tree health," says Lee Brown. "My presentation includes tips and cautions about many of the most common mistakes I see in the field."
Mr. Brown will also discuss the most common tree problems, their causes, and treatments available to mitigate the damage done.
"Some of the subjects covered will be soil compaction, improper mulching, structural defects, root rot, etc.," explains Brown.
Area crafters, businesses and organizations will have exhibits showcasing their products and services. Exhibit and vendor booths with plants, lawn furniture, garden items, home needs and dιcor, equipment and more will be promoting and offering their products to the public. There will be a silent auction and door prizes given throughout the day.
