Jars of Clay to perform live in Denison March 15

Jars of Clay will perform live at the Rialto in Denison on Saturday, March 15 at 7:00 p.m. for a 20th anniversary celebration concert with special guest Lainey Wright.

The popular singing group Jars of Clay is a contemporary Christian group who has won 15 Dove awards and 3 Grammy awards. They will be showcasing songs from the past 20 years.

Jars of Clay has 16 #1 songs including "Flood," "I Need You," and "Fly." The group includes Dan Haseltine (lead vocals), Stephen Mason (bass, guitar, and vocals), Matt Odmark (guitar and vocals), and Charlie Lowell (synthesizer, organ, piano, and vocals). Their music has been in movies such as A Walk to Remember starring Mandy Moore and Long Kiss Goodnight starring Geena Davis.

Jars of Clay will have merchandise available for purchase at the Rialto. They will be promoting their Blood:Water Mission. Their goal is to raise awareness and funds to address HIV/AIDS and the water crisis in Africa. The concert will feature new songs and oldies.

The night will begin with special guest Lainey Wright. Tickets are on sale for $25 reserved and $45 VIP and can be purchased at the Denison Chamber of Commerce, 313 West Woodard, Denison, TX. VIP tickets include backstage passes and preferred seating.

The event was originally scheduled in December but was rescheduled due to the ice storm. Tickets purchased for the December 6 date will be honored.
