Fort Worth, TX – January 8, 2014 – The Greater Fort Worth Real Estate Council (GFWREC), a unified voice for the commercial real estate industry in the Fort Worth area, today announced details about the 2014 Tarrant County Commercial Real Estate Forecast to be held on Thursday, January 16, 2014 from 7:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. During this twenty-fifth anniversary event, a lineup of six “All-Star” industry leaders will forecast their expectations for the commercial real estate market in 2014, and six “Hall of Fame” speakers from the past will revisit predictions from the last twenty-five years. The event will be held at the Fort Worth Convention Center, Ballroom B, located at 1201 Houston Street in Fort Worth.
Industry leaders who will reveal their 2014 predictions during the event include: David Berzina of the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce on “How Tarrant County Rates Nationally;” Susan Halsey of Jackson Walker L.L.P. on “Issues of Interest;” Drew Kile of IPA Texas on “The Multi-Family Market;” Bill Burton of Hillwood Properties, a Perot company, on “The Industrial Market;” David Walters of Jones Lang LaSalle on “The Office Market” and Stephen Coslik of Woodmont on “The Retail Market.”
Former speakers who will review past predictions during the event include: Ben Loughry of Integra Realty Resources on “How Tarrant County Rates Nationally;” Mike Berry of Hillwood Properties, a Perot company, on “Issues of Interest;” Jim Harris of James R. Harris Partners on “The Single-Family Market;” Todd Burnette of Jones Lang LaSalle on “The Industrial Market;” Jack Huff of Transwestern on “The Office Market” and Jim Eagle of CASE Commercial Real Estate will provide “The Wrap Up.”
The schedule of events for the Forecast begins with check-in and networking from 7:30 a.m. to 8:25 a.m., a breakfast for the Young Leaders Council (sponsored by Peloton Land Solutions) at 7:30 a.m. and speaker presentations from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
