CENTRAL

Arcadia: December 18. Elevation normal, water 36 and murky. All   fishing fair.  Report submitted by Sheila Hutton, gate attendant.

Hefner: December 16. Elevation dropping, water 38-40 and clear.   Largemouth and smallmouth bass slow. White bass and striped bass hybrids fair on jigs and grubs at 12-25 ft. along the dam. Channel and blue catfish fair on cut bait along the dam. Crappie good on minnows and jigs at 12-20 ft. along the dam. Walleye slow on grubs at 8-12 ft. along the dam. Overholser: December 17. Elevation normal, water 46 and clear.   Crappie fair of soft-tail and feather-tail jigs. White bass good on soft-tail   and feather-tail jigs. All other fishing slow. Report submitted by Jerrod Davis, game warden stationed in Stephens county.

Wes Watkins: December 29. All fishing slow. Report submitted by Mike France, game warden stationed in Pottawatomie County.

NORTHEAST

Carl   Blackwell: December 16.   Elevation 2 3/4 ft. below normal, water 34 and stained. Crappie excellent on   live minnows, white/pink hair jigs and plastic bodied jigs at 9-16 ft. at the enclosed crappie dock. The best color combinations for crappie change daily, any jig with a bright tail or head. Jig weights should be in the 1/8 oz. area   with a number 4-6 hook. Largemouth bass slow to fair on  tandem bladed spinnerbaits, chatter baits and crankbaits. Striped bass hybrids fair drifting large spoons and large 1-2 oz. hair jigs around structure on bottom near drop-offs and creek channels. Saugeye fair on minnows and worm harnesses on bottom fished very slow. Channel catfish fair to good on punch baits, worms and cut bait in the deepest creek channels. Flathead catfish slow.   Trout good to excellent on Power Baits, worms and leeches fished on the   bottom; larger trout being caught on 1/64 oz. jigs around structure. Copan: December 28. Elevation normal, water clear. Crappie fair   on minnows and  jigs at 8-12 ft. Blue and channel catfish slow on cut bait.   Report submitted by Joe Alexander, game warden stationed in Washington County.

Eucha: December 17. Elevation 3/4 ft. below normal,   water 38 and dingy. All fishing slow. Report submitted by Dwight Moore, City of Tulsa.

Ft. Gibson: December 16. Elevation normal, water clear.   Crappie good on jigs at 20 ft. All other fishing slow. Report submitted by   Rick Stafford in Wagoner.

Greenleaf: December 24. Elevation normal, water 44 and clear.   Largemouth bass fair on spinnerbaits, crankbaits and jig-and-worm at 8-12 ft. along rocky points and brush structure. Catfish good on fresh cut bait and   stinkbait on bottom. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs in at 12-16 ft. around   fishing docks and brush structure.  Report submitted by Lark Wilson, game   warden stationed in Muskogee County.

Hudson: December 30. Elevation normal. Crappy good on   minnows and jigs in around 12-16 ft around brush structure and docks. All other   fishing slow. Report submitted by Steve Loveland, game warden stationed in Rogers and Mayes counties.

Hulah: December 28. Elevation 1 ft. above normal, water   clear. Crappie slow on jigs at 8-12 ft. around brush piles. Channel catfish slow   on cut bait. Report submitted by Joe Alexander, game warden stationed in Washington County.

Kaw: December 29. Elevation normal. Spotted bass,   sandbass and hybrids are slow. Blue catfish and crappie good on rod and reel.   All other fishing is slow. Report submitted by Emily Long, game warden   stationed in Kay and Grant counties.

Keystone: December 24. Elevation normal. Catfish fair   on cut bait and live bait. Striped bass fair on jigs, cut bait and live bait   at 26 ft. around bridges. Crappie fair on minnows at 16-20 ft. of water   around boat docks and structure. White bass fair on jigs, live and cut bait.   Report submitted by Dwight Luther, game warden
stationed in Creek County.

Lower Illinois: December 28. Water low 50s with occasional   water releases. Striped bass good toward the mouth and in deep holes, on   jigs, swim bait and Alabama rigs. Trout good on Power Bait on bottom in deep   holes, especially below the dam. Fly
fishing good drifting nymphs below strike indicators below riffles. Report submitted by Jeremy Bersche, game   warden stationed in Sequoyah County.

Oologah: December 28. Water mid 40s and murky. Elevation normal. Blue catfish good on   shad at 25 ft. near main lake channel. Crappie fair on jigs and minnows at 15-20 ft. near brush piles. Report submitted by Brek Henry, game warden stationed

Skiatook: December 16. Elevation 8 1/4 ft. below normal,   water clear. All fishing slow. Report submitted by Paul Welch, game warden stationed in Osage County.

Sooner: December 30. All fishing slow. Report submitted by   Doug Gottschalk, game warden stationed in Noble County.

Spavinaw: December 17. Elevation slightly below normal,   water 41 and dingy. All fishing slow. Report submitted by Dwight Moore, City of Tulsa.

Tenkiller: December 30. Elevation 1/2 ft. above normal, water   clear and steady. Largemouth fair on soft plastic bass jigs and crankbaits   along steep bluffs. Crappie fair on 1/16 oz. tube jigs at 20-25 ft. Sunfish fair on wormtipped jigs in docks or brushpiles. Report submitted by Monte Brooks in Cookson.

Webbers   Falls: December 24. Elevation   normal, water 46 and murky. Largemouth bass fair on deep diving bill baits   around points, creek channels and rocks. Catfish good on fresh cut bait and   stinkbait on bottom. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs in black and purple at 12-16 ft. NORTHWEST

Canton: December 28. Elevation 13 ft. below normal, water clear. All   fishing slow. Report submitted by Mark Walker, game warden stationed in Blaine County.

Ft.   Supply: December 23. All   fishing slow. Report submitted by Mark Reichenberger, game warden stationed in Woodward County.

SOUTHEAST

Arbuckle: December 21. Elevation 5 ft. below normal, water 46   and clear. Crappie slow off docks and fair on main lake using jigs at 30-35 ft. around brush piles. White bass fair on spoons and slabs along drop-offs and   creek bends near the dam. Bass being caught on crankbaits, Carolina-rigged   creature baits and Alabama rigs.  Channel catfish and carp being caught on   dough bait off docks. Report submitted by Jack Melton.

Blue River: December 30. Elevation normal, water 37 and   clear. Trout good on Power Bait, spoons and in-line spinnerbaits below   waterfalls and around current obstructions. Fly fishing fair on woolly   buggers, Copper Johns, jibs and zebra midges near riffles
and gravel bars.  Channel catfish good on stinkbait and chicken liver near slow  moving current   in deeper pools. Smallmouth and spotted bass fair on soft plastics and jigs in slow water. Stocked approximately 2,400 rainbow trout on Dec. 30.   Report submitted by Matt Gamble, biologist at the Blue River Public Fishing and Hunting Area.

Eufaula: December 29. Elevation 1/2 ft. below normal, water   clear. Largemouth bass slow. White bass slow. Blue catfish slow. Crappie fair   on minnows and jigs around docks with brush. Report submitted by Ed Rodebush,   game warden stationed
in McIntosh County.

Hugo: December 29. Elevation 2 ft. above normal. All fishing   slow. Catfish fair on cutbait around dam due to water release. Report   submitted by Jay Harvey, game warden stationed in Choctaw and Bryan counties.

Konawa: December 30. Elevation normal, water 45 and clear.   Largemouth bass good on plastic worms at 5-10 ft. along weed lines and under   water structure. Report submitted by Dale Stites, game warden stationed in   Pontotoc County.

Lower   Mountain Fork: December 29.   100 C.F.S. above the Powerhouse, call 866-494-1993 for hydroelectric release   schedule, water 58 and clear. The best areas to fish  are Spillway Creek,   Evening Hole and Zone 2. The best access points are Beaver Lodge Nature  Trail, Evening Hole Bridge and the Old Park Dam. Blue winged olives and   midges hatching. Recommend fly fishing leader of 7 1/2 ft., with 5X Tippet on a 9'5" weight fly rod. High stick presentation with nymphs in fast   water. Swing soft hackles or throw streamers in deeper runs. Report submitted   by Dru Polk, game warden stationed in McCurtain County.

McGee Creek: December 29. Elevation 3 ft. below   normal, water 49 and clear. Largemouth bass fair on crankbaits and soft   plastic lures at 16-24 ft. over submerged points. Crappie fair on minnows at   18-25 ft. over submerged cedar trees off major creek channels. Report  submitted by Larry Luman, game warden stationed in Atoka County.

Pine   Creek: December 22. Elevation above normal, water murky. Bass good on soft plastic baits and crankbaits near inlets. Crappie fair on spoons in deep water. Catfish fair to good on   juglines baited with cut bait. Report submitted by Mark Hannah, game warden stationed in McCurtain County.

Robert S. Kerr: December 23. Blue   catfish good on cut bait drifting in the river channel or flats near the   channel. Flathead and channel catfish fair on juglines and trotlines baited   with cut bait near Hickory Nut Ridge. Crappie good on minnows up the Big San   Bois Creek near submerged brush or other cover. Crappie also fair around the port on minnows, especially on warmer days. Report submitted by Allen Couch, game warden stationed in Haskell County.

Sardis: December 29. Elevation normal. Channel and blue   catfish fair on cutbait. All fishing slow. Crappie good on minnows and jigs   at 14-20 ft. Report submitted by Dane Polk, game warden stationed in Pushmataha County.

Texoma: December 29. Elevation 7 1/3 ft. below normal,   water 52 and clear. Largemouth bass fair on big slow crankbaits at 10-20 ft. around   the points. Smallmouth bass fair on big jigs and baits at 10-15 ft. around riprap. Striped bass fair to good on live bait and slabs at 10-25 ft. in the river channels. White bass fair on
live bait and slabs at 10-25 ft. in the   river channels. Channel and blue catfish fair on cutbait and stinkbait at 10-20   ft. in upper Red River, in the Washita River arm and around cleaning stations.   Crappie fair on live bait and tube jigs at 5-15 ft. in creeks with brush.   Sunfish fair on small tube jigs and worms at 5-10 ft. around riprap. Wister: December 29. Elevation 5 1/2 ft. above normal,   water murky. Largemouth bass fair on spinnerbaits and crankbaits. Crappie   fair on jigs at 8-10 ft. Catfish fair on juglines and trotlines baited with cut bait. Report submitted by Randy Fennell, game warden stationed in LeFlore County.

SOUTHWEST

Ellsworth: December 15. Elevation normal, water muddy. Crappie   slow to fair on jigs at 14 ft. over structure. Report submitted by Mike Carroll, game warden stationed in Comanche County.

Lawtonka: December 15. Elevation normal, water clear. All fishing   slow. Report submitted by Mike Carroll, game warden stationed in Comanche County.

Tom   Steed: December 16. Elevation 10 ft. below normal, water 35 and murky. Blue catfish slow on cut shad on   bottom in 4-8 ft. of water on the west side. Report submitted by David Smith, game warden stationed in Kiowa County.
