Learn to protect trees from drought

Bonham --  Lee Brown, Certified Arborist of New Leaf Tree and Shrub Care, will share advice about how to protect your trees during this ongoing drought at a meeting of the Bois d’Arc Master Naturalists set for Thursday, June 20 in the Elizabeth May Room, American Bank, 120 W Sam Rayburn Dr. in Bonham, Texas.

The evening begins at 6:00 p.m. with a meet, greet and eat. The lecture begins at 7:00 p.m. and is open to the public.

Brown has 22 years arbor experience and will discuss how to best protect your trees to prolong their health and life.

Bring pictures of your tree in question for the Q&A of the lecture. The Bois d’Arc Master Naturalists chapter is a Fannin County service and education organization emphasizing the Native Bio Systems of Fannin County. All meetings, training, and activities are open and free.

To join as a member, completion of a Basic Training Course is needed. Next Course is in the Fall. The Chapter meets monthly every third Thursday at the American Bank in Bonham.
