Bonham -- Countdown is on for one of the most popular fundraisers in Bonham as the Bonham Public Library staff and board of directors prepare for the 2013 Books'n'Blooms Bazaar Saturday, April 6.

Herbs and flowers are filling the foyer, craftsmen are delivering their handiwork and a dozen kitchens are filled with the heavenly aroma of baked goods bound for the annual library fundraiser.

Bonham Public Library doors will open at 9:00 a.m. sharp Saturday morning and this is definitely one occasion when if you snooze, you lose. Library patrons will be waiting in line to get first selections of flowers, herbs, pies, pastries, breads, garden decorations, used books and much, much more.

Speaking of more, John Moore has donated two impressive examples of his woodwork for this fundraiser.

Hanging baskets, colorful flowers, container gardens, and two concrete garden benches are already drawing visitors to the library as prospective buyers look over this year's collection in anticipation. 

Books'n'Blooms Bazaar is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 6.  Bonham Public Library is located at 305 East 5th. Street.
