Artistic spring celebration in historic downtown McKinney
McKINNEY, TEXAS – Local and regional artists will come out to play in downtown McKinney on Saturday, April 13 for the annual Arts in Bloom festival.
McKinney Main Street, the McKinney Performing Arts Center (MPAC) and the shops in downtown McKinney invite you to experience art in all forms as it blossoms throughout the historic district.
This all-day event is a perfect opportunity to experience the McKinney historic district in spring with art, music, food, shopping and fun.
What to expect throughout the day (times vary for each event):
- ArtWalk: More than 150 local and regional artists will line the streets of throughout the twelve-block area of downtown to showcase their talents for the annual ArtWalk.
- Chalk Walk: Sidewalks spring to life with color and creativity when artists' imaginations run wild at Chalk Walk on the sidewalks surrounding MPAC.
- MRT Performance: McKinney Has Talent at McKinney Performing Arts Center in the Courtroom Theater.
- Second Saturdays: Second Saturdays in downtown McKinney kicks off the evening with live music, gallery exhibits and late hours at many stores.
