McKINNEY, Texas  – The McKinney Parks, Recreation and Open Space Department will hold its annual Easter Egg-Stravaganza on Saturday, March 30. Activities start at 11 a.m. at Al Ruschhaupt Soccer Complex, 1986 Park View Ave. Special features include an appearance by the Easter Bunny, and the event culminates with an Easter egg hunt for more than 30,000 candy-filled eggs.

Kids will enjoy bounce houses, a train, games and prizes. The event is free, with activities from 11 a.m. to noon. Children under eight are welcome to participate in the Easter egg grabs, which begin at 12:15 p.m.

“Families can enjoy this great event with games, entertainment, and of course an Easter egg hunt for the children,” said Recreation Superintendent Ryan Mullins. “This is a great opportunity for everyone to come out and enjoy one of McKinney’s beautiful parks on a spring day.”
