COMMERCE, TX—The Texas A&M University-Commerce chapter of the National Association of Colored Women’s Club Incorporated (NACWC) will host Fashion Night Out at 6 p.m. March 27 at the Rayburn Student Center Conference Rooms A, B and C at A&M-Commerce.

Fashion Night Out is a fashion show for students, faculty, staff and the community with all proceeds going to Relay for Life.  The event will also be a networking opportunity for young designers, boutiques, models, performers, agents, stylists, fashion reporters and show producers.

“This fashion show will create awareness on campus and in the Dallas/Fort-Worth community not only about the latest fashion trends, but also about cancer and cancer research,” said Stephania Schirru, Vice President of NACWC Commerce chapter. “Through this event, I would like to share my passion for fashion with others and support cancer research because my grandmother died from cancer last summer.”

Professional designers and boutiques attending the event include: Kickie Boldness, Candice Carter Designs and LF Dallas Boutique. There will be a DJ, musical performances and a red carpet where the sponsors will be shown. Fashion Group International Dallas, a networking organization for fashion and alumni that are currently engaged in the fashion industry has also been invited.

This event is open to the public. Admission is $3 for non-students, and students will be asked for a donation. Dress code is upscale and classy.

NACWC is a non-profit organization that serves the Commerce, Greenville and Dallas communities.
