Park Place Lexus Plano started construction last May on a new facility at the corner of Spring Creek Parkway and the Dallas North Tollway. As the dealership begins to take shape, the community has been inquiring about what is being built at the high-profile intersection.

“We have heard some very interesting speculation about the plans for the new site,” said Jordan Case, president of Park Place Lexus. “People are really excited to hear we are coming to this location. After 15 expansions at Preston Road and Plano Parkway, we have simply outgrown our current site. The Dallas North Tollway is a perfect location with high visibility and great traffic flow throughout the day. The growth in northern Dallas and Collin counties has been tremendous the last 10 years and we are preparing to handle the volume of business for the next several decades.”

The building is progressing on schedule with paving around the entire facility complete and the innovative tilt wall now under construction. Scheduled to open late summer 2013, Park Place Lexus Plano will encompass more than 170,000 square feet sitting on 27.5 acres.

“Throughout the entire design process, we have focused on creating a dealership that will better serve the client,” said Case. “Our service drive will have the capacity to accommodate more clients during peak times of the day for service and car washes. Our client lounge will be comfortable, as well as extremely functional to do a little work or enjoy a complimentary beverage. The additional service bays will reduce the amount of time a client will wait for their vehicle to be serviced. We are in the business of providing the best automotive experience for our clients and the new facility will be a big part of their overall ownership experience.”

Park Place Lexus Plano will increase its service and make-ready bays from 68 to 119. The dealership also will house a dent and ding body repair area, as well as a tint service facility.

The exterior will feature soft, smooth lines with a sweeping wall the length of a football field that is clearly visible from the northbound and southbound lanes of the Dallas North Tollway. The feature wall starts at 35 feet on one end and rises to 50 feet at the other, framing the showroom. The dealership will front the access road of the Dallas North Tollway with additional entry points on Spring Creek Parkway.

“We plan to open on schedule in late summer,” said Case. “We have a team who are already working tirelessly to insure a successful and seamless move with very little disruption to our clients.”
