Denison -- It was a local version of the monster mash on Halloween as Denison's annual Monsters on Main attracted hundreds of trick-or-treaters to downtown Denison to collect treats from area businesses and then compete for prizes in the costume contest.

This safe Halloween alternative was sponsored by Denison Main Street and downtown businesses.  Perfect autumn weather attracted a large crowd for trick-or-treating and then the crowd converged on Heritage Park for the bigger-than-ever costume contest.
