For the sixth year, the Raku Rumble in Heritage Park will one of the highlights of the Fall Fine Art Tour. A specific type of pottery that originated in 16th century Japan, the process involves firing Raku pottery and then allowing the super-heated piece to quickly cool.
For this year's Dia de los Muertos and Art Walk, the Raku Rumble will fire up between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
The two-day event held on Saturday, November 3 and Sunday, November 4 in Denison, Texas will celebrate the Christian holiday of Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, through a wide variety of gallery exhibits, live art demonstrations, parades, live music, a bustling mercado, international foods and beverages - including a Beer and Margarita Garden, a feature film and events for all ages and interests!
