Myth:  I misplace my keys and remote control a lot; I must be getting Alzheimer’s Disease.

Truth:  Often we lose things like this because we break a habit – something we do regularly, like putting your keys or the remote control in the same place. You don’t need to remember where your keys are because they are always in the same place.

The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service is offering a six-week Master of Memory class starting Wednesday, Oct 31 at 9:30 a.m. in the Grayson County Courthouse Assembly room.  The cost of the series is $10.  You can sign up by calling Joyce White at 903-813-4203 or by showing up in the Assembly room on the 2nd floor of the Courthouse before 9:30 on Wednesday, Oct 31.

The Master of Memory program is a six lesson series to help older adults understand how memory works, identify ways to improve memory and pinpoint things in everyday life that may affect memory.  We will discuss what can affect memory, how our memory works, learning and strategies to improve our memory.  The $10 fee covers all six classes.
