Bonham -- Merry Crook has been selected as Artist of the Month at Bonham City Hall. Her work is on display at City Hall located at 514 Chestnut. You can also stop by the Creative Arts Center at 200 West 5th Street, Bonham Texas to see more of Merry's work of art.
"My appreciation for art began at a very young age while visiting my aunt in Oklahoma who was an oil painter herself. I loved the Indians and western themes she expressed in each and every piece. I started drawing teepees and Indian scenes along the rivers of my imagination, getting my first pastels when I was 6 years old," says Merry.
