Sunday, November 4 from 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

The Denison Arts Council is once again sponsoring the second Sweet Jubilee in the Arts and Culture District in Downtown Denison. This event will be held at the Palazzo, 506 W. Chestnut, and will be accompanying the Dia De los Meurtos Fall Art Walk in Downtown. The Sweet Jubilee will include cake decorating demonstrations, cake contests, and booths of sweet treats and inspirations for the culinary at heart.

We are calling for local talent of all ages to show off their cake & sugar crafting skills in a variety of categories and levels. There are children’s divisions & adult categories from beginner to master. Entry fees are only $5 for kids, $10 for initial adult entries and $5 for additional. Non-edible cake and sugar art made from recycled materials will also be accepted as donations for display & silent auction (no fee is required for donated non-edible art pieces).

There is plenty of booth space available so we want to welcome local and area vendors to provide shopping and activities for visitors to enjoy while at this event. We are looking for cake, confectionary, culinary booths as well as non-cake related venders. Vender fee is $40.

Entry forms and vender applications can be found on the event’s site.
