Bonham -- The recently formed Willow Wild Cemetery Association is welcoming volunteers to join in a clean-up of the cemetery grounds Saturday, followed by an inaugural "Dinner on the Grounds."

Parker McComas will bring pecan-smoked barbecue brisket sandwiches for the crowd. If you would like to participate in this luncheon and homecoming on the cemetery grounds, please bring a side dish or dessert and soft drinks.

"I hope to see you at Willow Wild Cemetery Saturday morning," says Parker. "We're going to have some fun 'sprucing up' the grounds, as my mother used to say. Bring your positive outlook, weed trimmers, safety glasses, gloves, and other yard maintenance tools. At one o'clock we're having Dinner on the Grounds. To that, bring your favorite side dish or dessert to share and an appetite for good smoked brisket sandwiches. See y'all Saturday morning at Willow Wild at nine."
