Denison, Texas --  Tri-County Senior Nutrition Project DBA Meals on Wheels of Texoma (MOWOT) will hold its annual meeting on Thursday, October 18 at 4:00 p.m.

The membership will convene to consider and take action on the appointment of two new directors to its governing board. The City of Bonham will nominate Ruth Ann Thomas, Bonham City Council member, and the City of Sherman will nominate Bob Softly, Sherman City Council member, to represent each city on the board.

A brief awards ceremony will be held immediately following the elections to honor Roy Floyd, mayor of Bonham and Phyllis Hicks, representative for the City of Sherman for their individual contributions to the MOWOT senior nutrition program and for their years of faithful service to the senior citizens served by the organization.

Bonham Mayor Roy Floyd delivers a hot meal from Bonham Senior Citizens Center during an annual Mayors on Wheels event designed to encourage more volunteers to participate and assist local SNAP Centers.
