A Walking Tour of Willow Wild Cemetery

You know the names. Tom Bean, Choice Moore, I.W. Evans, but do you know their stories?

The walking tour will feature brief biographical sketches of some of the history-making citizens of Bonham, including John P. Simpson, Harry Peyton Steger and Sam Rayburn who are buried in Willow Wild Cemetery.

The cemetery walking tour is presented by the Sam Rayburn House Museum. The tour will take place at Willow Wild Cemetery, located at 1220 West 7th Street in Bonham, on Saturday, October 27 at 10 a.m. Attendees will begin the tour at Sam Rayburn's grave, near the entrance gates to Willow Wild.

The museum will provide hot chocolate, coffee and pastries. The tour is free.
