Herrington is the daughter of David and Janie Herrington of Bonham.

Grandparents are Evelyn Hartwell and the late Joe Hartwell of Bonham and the late Wayne and Ora Herrington of Irving, Texas. Emily graduated from Bonham High School in 1994, Baylor University in 1998 and Texas A&M-Commerce in 2001. She is a teacher for The Dallas Independent School District.

Madden is the son of Bill and Nancy Jeter of Hays, Kansas and Kent Madden of Hutchinson, Kansas.

Grandpartents are Virgil and Elberta McElhaney of Ulysses, Kansas and Mary Ann Madden and the late Carl Madden of Hutchinson, Kansas. He graduated from Ellinwood High School in 1991, The University of Kansas in 1996 and the University of Kansas School of Law in 1999. He is currently practicing law in Dallas, Texas.

Maid of Honor was Kamesha Brown of Arab, Alabama.

Bridesmaids were Kim Kincade of Irving, Texas and Morgan Hartwell of Bonham, Texas.

Flower girl was Elyssa Herrington, daughter of the Bride.

Ring bearer was Austin Hartwell of Bonham, Texas.

Best Man was Blake Madden of Overland Park, Kansas.

Groomsmen were Patrick Schartz of Tampa, Florida and Douglas Brubaker of Mansfield, Texas.

Ushers were Rodney Herrington of Bonham, Texas, Kris Robl of Denver, Colorada and Jay Hartwell of Sherman, Texas.

Candle Lighter was Morgan Hartwell.

Wedding music was provided by Irene Ivey (pianist) of Leonard, Texas and Brittany Hudgins and Courtney Hudgins (vocalist) of Mineola, Texas.

Guest Registrar was Pam Hartwell of Bells, Texas.

A reception was held in the fellowship hall of Edhube Baptist Church. Reception assistants were Beth Holt of Frisco, Texas, Josie Hartwell of Bonham, Texas, Lisa Bridges of Bonham, Texas, Kristi Scoggin of Dallas, Texas and Dixie Stephenson of Overland Park, Kansas.

The wedding party and family enjoyed a dinner reception held at the Purple Sage Bistro in Bonham, Texas.

A bridal shower was hosted by the Women on Mission at the Edhube Baptist Church. A family wedding shower was held in Irving, Texas and hosted by DeLoyce Minter and Edith Auston. An additional wedding shower was hosted by Elaine Ashlock in Bonham, Texas. A bridal tea and personal shower was held in Whitewright, Texas and hosted by Kamesha Brown, Kim Kincade, Morgan Hartwell, Leigh Ann Hartwell, Beth Holt, Kristi Scoggin and Nancy Jeter.

Following their honeymoon trip to Tahiti, Moorea, Bora Bora and French Polynesia the couple will reside in Dallas, Texas.
