Bonham -- Months of work by dozens of volunteers will all come to fruition Wednesday, October 10 with the opening of the 2012 Fannin County Fair.
The midway will be a busy place Wednesday, October 10 and Thursday, October 11 because those are the two nights designated as Carnival Arm Band Nights.
The Horse Show is set for Wednesday, October 10 and the Commercial Heifer Show will be held Thursday, October 11.
Beauty pageants are scheduled for October 11-13.
Fannin County Master Gardeners will be hosting a Horticulture & Garden Show and entries will be turned in Thursday. For more information regarding the Horticulture & Garden Show, please call 903-583-7453.
The Youth & Lil' Britches Rodeo will begin 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 13 and the 2012 Fannin County Fair Queen will be crowned Saturday night at the conclusion of the fair.
