At night, Denton may seem like a quiet town, but there are places that experience unexplained disturbances suggesting supernatural forces at play. Numerous sightings have been reported of spirits lurking at Old Alton Bridge, stories of Nurse Betty who haunted the halls of the old Flow Hospital and of a ghost named Wanda who haunts Bruce Hall at UNT. Learn more about these reportedly haunted places.

On Thursday, October 18, 2012 from 12:15 pm -1:00 pm, please join us in the Courthouse-on-the-Square Commissioner’s Courtroom as Laura Douglas takes you on a virtual tour of Denton’s reportedly haunted places.

Laura Douglas is a Public Services Librarian with the Denton Public Library where she has worked for over 20 years. 
All Courthouse Museum exhibits and lectures are free and open to the public.  Handicapped parking and accessibility is through the north entrance.

The Courthouse-on-the-Square Museum is located in the historic Denton County Courthouse at 110 W. Hickory in Denton, Texas.
