Bonham -- The summer heat has broken, fall's first leaves are falling and that means the Fannin County Fair Parade can't be far off. This autumn ritual is a family favorite and a harbinger of a busy week of Fannin County Fair activities.

The Fannin County Fair Parade is scheduled to begin 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 6, so grab your favorite hat, dust off those boots and mosey on down to the Fannin County Square to enjoy horses, floats, youth groups and a procession of pretty beauty queens who will be vying for crowns in this year's county fair.

The theme for the 2012 Fannin County Fair Parade is Red, White and Moo!
