Trenton -- At their volleyball game October 9, the Trenton Lady Tigers are having a "pink night" to honor five amazing women who have battled breast cancer here in Fannin County.
Rozlyn Austin, Donna Jones, Brenda Brummett, Tina Pryor and Shelley Kahn being honored.
Trenton will play Blue Ridge on this special night.
Karen Acklin put this event into motion and Trenton head volleyball coach Kirstin Sanders had the idea of honoring the five women that night. The money that is raised will be donated to Women Rock.
These heroic women will be recognized after the varsity game, which is scheduled to be played before the JV game. People can support this effort by packing the gym.
There will be multiple opportunities to make donations and make purchases at the game. The Trenton Lady Tigers will also be raffling off a pink ball.
