Bonham -- The peaceful rolling hills of Fannin County welcomed 461 bicycle enthusiasts Saturday, September 22 for the 26th running of Autumn in Bonham Bike Rally.

Just like clockwork, the first pack of riders embarked at 8:30 a.m. September 22.  A network of volunteers manned critical intersections and guided riders along the six routes varying between 15 miles to more than 75 miles. Volunteers also set up strategically located rest stops stocked with water, juice and snacks to ensure that riders remained hydrated and had ample energy food along the way.

Fannin County Sheriff's Department and Bonham Police Department assigned personnel to direct traffic at the busiest intersections as hundreds of bicyclists streamed out of Bonham to enjoy a morning ride on many of the quiet country roads throughout Fannin County.
