Bonham -- This is our 26th year for this rally and it gets better every year!  All five routes start from the Fannin County Multi-Purpose Complex and pass the Sam Rayburn House Museum and then the Sam Rayburn Library.

The 15-mile Family Ride takes riders to the Bonham State Park and the optional loop added to the 64-mile route takes riders through the Caddo National Grasslands, passing by Lake Crockett and Coffee Mill Lake.  The 28-mile route takes riders to Dodd City, passes near Gober, and includes a rest stop at the Bonham State Park.

The 44-mile route goes to Dodd City, Gober, crosses over highway 78 to ride on FM 1553 (beautiful rural area),  and back to town through the Edhube community.  The 54-mile route is famous for the ride through the Leonard Hills.  That is like a roller coaster.

Watch for the bike riders – help to keep them safe.  We have averaged 500-600 riders the past five years.  We are expecting about 500 riders again this year.  The majority of the riders are from the north Dallas area.  Plus this year 24 riders with the Texoma Cycling Club in Sherman are coming.  All of the riders will enjoy snacks and cold drinks at the 12 rest stops, located about 10 miles apart on the routes.  Most of all, they will enjoy the beautiful countryside of Fannin County.
