The Grayson County Master Gardeners are holding their Fall Plant Sale on Saturday, September 15 at the Grayson County Courthouse in Sherman.

The sale begins at 8:00 and will end when we run out of plants or at 4:00 PM, whichever comes first. The plants are grown by Master Gardeners and cover many different types and varieties. The Fall Sale is mostly perennials and bulbs. We usually have 4" pots for $1.00, 6" pots for $3.00 & gal size for $5.00.

The purpose of the sale is a fund raiser for our projects such as the roses at the Eisenhower birthplace in Denison. As a nonprofit organization we need funds to purchase supplies and materials used in the maintenance of these gardens.

Other projects include the entrance to Eisenhower State Park, Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge, FUMC Meditation Garden in Sherman, FUMC Memorial Garden in Whitesboro, Geoff Beds at the Sherman courthouse, Whitewright Nature Park Restoration & the Veterans Memorial Garden at Fairview Park in Sherman.
