Morgan Malone and Jarred Besch gave the program on Wed., August 29 at the weekly Bonham Rotary Club meeting. Morgan, Pastor of First Baptist Church of Bonham, and Jarred Besch traveled with three others from Bonham to Kyrgyzstan from August 3 to August 17 on a humanitarian aid project. The other three were Tamara Kennedy, Brad Kissling, and Malcolm Holland. This was Morgan’s third trip to Kyrgyzstan.

While there, they participated in putting down a gymnasium floor, helped with dentistry, and participated in installing a 1/2” water line from the hospital to the dental clinic.

They reported that the only meat that the people of this country eat is horse, sheep or goat. It is very mountainous and is second or third popular for mountain climbers. Kyrgyzstan is located in Central Asia. It was declared independent from the Soviet Union in 1991 as the Republic of Kyrgyzstan.

The Bonham Rotary Club meets every Wednesday at 12:00 noon at the Family Life Center.
