Farmersville -- The Bonham Lady Warriors opened gold bracket play in the 2012 Farmersville Volleyball with a tough loss to the Mount Pleasant Lady Tigers, the eventual tourney champs.

Mount Pleasant won game one, 25-14, and Bonham came out on top in the second set, 25-21. In the deciding third game, it was Mount Pleasant advancing with a 25-15 win.

In the Lady Warriors' next match, Bonham dispatched Whitewright in straight sets, 25-20 and 25-17.

That set up a match between the Farmersville Lady Farmers and Bonham to decide third place in the tourney. Farmersville edged Bonham in two very close games, 26-24 and 25-23, to capture third place.

The Bonham Lady Warriors will travel to Greenville Tuesday, August 28, while Farmersville pays a visit to Whitesboro.
