Private Pesticide Applicator License training in Bonham Sept. 7

A training and testing opportunity for individuals interested in obtaining a Private Pesticide Applicator License has been scheduled for Friday September 7, 2012. The License is required for purchasing and applying restricted use pesticides (herbicides, insecticides) on your property. 

The training/testing will be held at Shumardiis Restaurant Hwy 121 S Bonham.  Coffee and Donuts will be available.     Training will begin at 8:00 a.m. and the test will be administered following lunch break.  Lunch will be on your own. The test will be administered by a Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) representative.  The license is good for 5 years. 

During the 5 years, license holders will be required to obtain 15 continuing education units to maintain their license.  Pesticide applicator manuals are available at the Fannin County Extension office.   Registration and Manuals are $50.  Please Preregister or RSVP.
