We welcome Tanner Young to our stage on August 11 at 7:00 p.m. He will be joined by John and James Grubb (members of The Full Quiver family band). Tanner is a 14-year-old singer and musician from Colbert, Oklahoma. He performs old country, bluegrass, and gospel music.
Tanner has been playing for about four years and has taught himself to play mandolin, guitar, dobro, fiddle, and bass. He has performed at several festivals and has won several awards and contests. He has recorded 3 CDs and is in the process of making a gospel CD. We look forward to having him at the Chrystal Opry House.
Admission for the evening is $6 per adult. Children under 12 are admitted free.
Youth 12-17 are half price.
The Chrystal Opry house is located at 1977 White Mound Road, Sherman, Texas which is 1.5 miles west of Tom Bean or 6 miles east of Howe on FM 902 and a half mile south on White Mound Road. No alcohol is permitted and there is no smoking inside the building. Seating is provided.
Food is available at the snack bar inside the Opry House during the shows. We serve hot dogs, chopped brisket sandwiches, candy, soda, coffee, water, and ice cream novelties.
