Narcotics Arrest - July 26, 600 Block E. 1st St. Arresting Officer Cpl. Bill Abbott. Based on a narcotics investigation, contact was made with Chrystal Marriott and Dwayne Hill. Through the investigation it was determined that Marriott and Hill were selling prescription medication. Hill was arrested and charged with Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance PG 3 under 28 grams Drug Free Zone. Marriott was searched incident to arrest and a small bag of Marijuana was located in her back pocket. Marriott was charged with Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance PG 3 under 28 grams Drug Free Zone, Possession of Marijuana under 2 oz Drug Free Zone, as well as an outstanding warrant out of Bonham PD for Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance PG 3/4 under 28 grams.
Arrest -
July 26, 500 Block E. Sam Rayburn Dr. Arresting Officer Cpl. Robert Houser. A call for service was received in reference to burglary of a coin operated machine. The caller advised officers that a male subject, who she identified as David Holman, was breaking into the machines. Upon officers arrival they observed the suspect, who they knew to be Holman, wiping down panels covering the change box as if he was attempting to remove fingerprints. Officers conducted a brief search in the building and found multiple machines that appeared to have been tampered with in the area where the change is kept. Holman was then searched and officers located quarters as well as an allen wrench in his pocket. Holman was then arrested for Burglary of a Coin Operated Machine. During the book-in process, Bonham PD Dispatch located an active Criminal Trespass Warning on Holman and he was advised of the additional charge.Narcotics Arrest
- July 27, 1200 Block Pine St. Arresting Officer Cpl. William Abbott. During a routine traffic stop, officers made contact with Joshua Flores. While speaking with Flores, officers observed a clear baggy with Marijuana inside the vehicle sitting on top of the center console in plain view. Flores was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana under 2 oz, Driving While License Invalid, and outstanding warrants out of Fannin County Sheriff's Office and Collin County Sheriff's Office.Arrest
- July 30, 600 E. 15th St. Arresting Officer Sgt. Tammy Boehler. A call for service was received in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival, officers met with the victim who was visibly upset and crying. The victim advised officers that her mother’s boyfriend, identified as Jessie Clark, had grabbed her by the back of the neck and threw her into the wall. Officers did observe marks on the back of the victim's neck. When the investigation was complete, Clark was advised he was under arrest for Assault (Family Violence). Clark was searched prior to being placed into the patrol car. During the search of his person, Clark was found to be in possession of 2 pipes with Marijuana residue in them. Clark was advised he was also being charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. An Emergency Protective Order (EPO) was issued. Clark later requested to make a phone call. While he was on the phone, Officers discovered he was using his phone call to contact a protected person from the EPO. Clark was then advised he was also being charged with Violating Protective Order.Arrest
- August 2, 500 Block W. Russell Ave. Arresting Officer Ptl Cory Brookshire. A call for service was received in reference to disorderly conduct. Upon Officers arrival, they observed a man asleep on a pool chair in a gated area with his pants down. There was a backpack located on the chair with the male subject. Officers were able to wake up the sleeping man and he was placed under arrest for Disorderly Conduct-Expose Genitals. The male subject was identified as Jerry Ernst. Ernst claimed ownership of the bag and its contents. During the book-in process, officers inventory all prisoner property. During this inventory, officers located a small container that held drug paraphernalia as well as Methamphetamine. Ernst was advised he was also being charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1 under 1 gram Drug Free Zone.
