McKinney Police Department responds to residential burglaries in Isleworth Subdivision

On Sunday, July 29, 2012, at approximately 12:24 a.m., the McKinney Police Department ("MPD") responded to the first of four (4) residential burglaries in the neighborhood of the Isleworth Subdivision.

These burglaries share several commonalties to include:

• Some of the homeowners were out of town;

• Forced entry was made through the back door;

• It appears that the unknown suspect(s) primarily took items from the master bedroom and master bathroom from each residence; and

• The burglaries were reported on Sunday, July 29, 2012.

Collectively, the unknown suspect(s) stole family valuables, jewelry, one (1) gun safe, and one (1) handgun for a combined monetary loss of over $100,000.00.

Thus far, the ongoing investigation has yielded that an unknown white male was driving a dark colored Hummer – possibly black, in the neighborhood during the timeframe these burglaries occurred.
