Rev. Douglas Morgan Strong to speak at Red River Unitarian Universalist Church Aug. 5

Red River Unitarian Universalist Church will hear the Rev. Douglas Morgan Strong at 11:15 a.m. on August 5, speaking on the topic "Ramadan: The Month & the Observance."  In his sermon, Rev. Strong will discuss the rich heritage of Ramadan and its significance in Islam, which according to the latest U.S. Religion Census is the fastest growing religion in America.  Adult Forum will not meet that day, but The Soul Cafe will host coffee and conversation at 10:30 a.m. in the church kitchen. 

RRUU meets at 515 Burnett Ave. in Denison.  A nursery is provided, and all are welcome at RRUU events.
