Twenty-nine years ago these two Plano ISD teachers discovered several Plano students were homeless and without shelter. Boyd and Goodman set out on their own to establish a shelter, and in December 1988 they opened doors to Collin Intervention To Youth, now known as City House, the first non-profit organization to provide shelter to North Texas youth as well as others across the state.
Star Executive Director Ronelle Ianace presented Boyd and Goodman with Tiffany crystal bowls and many words of grateful appreciation for their work through City House.

This fundraising effort completes Star Children’s Charity’s $500,000 pledge to City House to build the children’s bedroom wing at My Friend’s House. Photos below and available for viewing: http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10150813452006362.384344.73400786361&type=3
