Burglary of Habitation - June 28, 500 Block Lipscomb. Reporting Officer Cpl. Rick Burns. A call for service was received in reference to a burglary of a habitation. Upon arrival officers met with the victim. The victim advised that an intoxicated male subject entered her room without permission and stole her cell phone. The victim advised she witnessed the suspect walking down the stairway from her room. Investigation continuing.

Striking Unattended Vehicle - June 29, 1500 Block Old Ector Rd. Reporting Officer Ptl Joshua Cunningham. A call for service was received in reference to a hit and run. Upon officers arrival contact was made with the victim. The victim advised officers he was inside the building working when a male subject came inside and began yelling at him. The victim advised shortly after the male suspect left, he went outside to get into his vehicle. Once outside, the victim observed that his front passenger side fender was dented and had scratches down it and the passenger side mirror was broken. The right front passenger wheel was also scratched and the tire itself had a small piece of rubber taken out of it. The victim believes the suspect caused the damages to his vehicle. Officers then spoke to witnesses who stated that they saw a truck strike the victim’s vehicle so hard it made it shake. Officers were given a description of the truck that struck the victim’s vehicle. Investigation continuing.

Burglary of a Vehicle - July 3, 2000 Block SH 121 N. Reporting Officer Ptl. Joe Gentry. A call for service was received in reference to a burglary of a motor vehicle. Upon officers arrival they met with the victim. The victim advised that when she got off work she returned to her vehicle and found that the center dash had been damaged and the CD player had been stolen. The victim advised that the doors were left unsecured. When asked if anything else was missing from the vehicle the victim advised that her purse had also been stolen. Investigation continuing.

Striking Unattended Vehicle- July 4, 7500 Block Lake Bonham Drive. Reporting Officer Ptl. Joshua Cunningham. A call for service was received in reference to a hit and run. Upon officers arrival they met with the victim. The victim advised that he was swimming in the lake when a female asked him if he was driving a Hyundai. The female subject advised him his vehicle had just been hit and the suspect vehicle was leaving. Officers observed the victims vehicle and could see the rear passenger side bumper was dented and had tire marks down it. The victim stated his car had been moved by the impact. Officers looked at the ground and could see the rear passenger side tire left tire marks in the gravel when it was hit. Officers then made contact with witnesses. Witnesses stated they observed the suspect vehicle strike the victim’s vehicle. They stated the impact was hard enough that it moved the victim’s vehicle to the left a few feet. A witness advised officers that the suspect vehicle's windows were down and she heard the passenger inform the driver that he had just hit a vehicle. The witness also advised officers that the driver had a beer in his hand. Officers were given a description of the vehicle that struck the victim's vehicle. Investigation continuing.
