Bonham -- The annual July 4th Fireworks Show, sponsored by the City of Bonham and Kiwanis Club of Bonham, lit up the summer sky Wednesday night with a dazzling display of pyrotechnics.

This year, the fireworks were complimented by a bright moon and the combination was spectacular.

Spectators packed the Lake Bonham swimming area, but, as in years past, residents also gathered at houses in the area for cook-outs and camaraderie before the annual summer highlight.

A large number of boats also anchored near the lake dam to witness the event.
