Summer camp at the Audie Murphy/American Cotton Museum in Greenville

Greenville -- This summer the Audie Murphy/American Cotton Museum is bringing back its popular  summer camp program.  Camp Fort Apache will focus on cowboys and indians.  All of the arts and crafts, games, songs and demonstrations will relate to the theme.  For example, some of the activities will include creating a medicine pouch, learning archery and how to rope, making campfire biscuits and creating an Indian village and cowboys on the range diorama.  These are just some of the activities that will be taking place during the program. 

The week-long camp program for 4-6 year olds will be from 10:30-12:00 July 17-21 and will cost $35.  The 7-10 year olds camp will be from 9:00-12:00 July 24-28th and will cost $45.  A maximum of fifteen children will be accepted in each program so please call (903) 450-4502 to register your child as soon as possible as the classes do fill up.  The museum is located at 600 IH-30 East in Greenville, TX.
