TeamConnor Childhood Cancer Foundation and Hawaiian Falls are teaming up to raise awareness and help fund research to find a cure for childhood cancer. Splash Out Childhood Cancer will be held 10:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. Thursday, July 12th at Hawaiian Falls in The Colony. The family fun day will be filled with contests, drawings, and lots of fun.
“This event is a great opportunity for the community to support childhood cancer research,” said Jennifer Bolton, executive director of TeamConnor Childhood Cancer Foundation. “Even if you can’t make it to the July 12th event in The Colony, tickets purchased through TeamConnor can be used throughout the summer at any Hawaiian Falls waterpark.”
Hawaiian Falls day passes are normally $24.99 for adults and children over 48 inches tall. Discount tickets are $19.99 each and can be purchased at teamconnor.org, by clicking on FIGHT. The benefit continues throughout the summer with proceeds going to help fund childhood cancer research.

Every year, more than 12,400 children and adolescents are diagnosed with cancer in the United States. Childhood cancer is the number one disease killer of children, yet the budget of the National Cancer Institute allocates only 3% of its funds to pediatric cancer research. The TeamConnor Childhood Cancer Foundation is dedicated to raising awareness and funding research and treatment programs to find a cure for all childhood cancers.
