For the fourth year, Dallas is hosting its Trinity River Photo Contest June 15 through October 15 to display the Trinity River corridor’s natural beauty. The photo contest is open to people of all ages who can enter as a youth, amateur or professional photographer.

The first, second and third place winners will receive a cash prize and the grand-prize winner will receive $500. Professionals judge the contest and the winners will be recognized at a Dallas City Council meeting. The winning photographs will be on display throughout the country on the gallery tour.

More than 700 photographs were submitted last year. Photographs can be submitted online, mailed or brought to Dallas City Hall’s Trinity River Corridor Project office, 1500 Marilla, Room 6B South, Dallas, TX 75201 until October 15 at midnight.
