McKINNEY, Texas (June 27, 2012) – City of McKinney offices will be closed on Wednesday, July 4, in observance of the Fourth of July holiday. Join the city in celebrating the Fourth of July holiday at Red, White and BOOM! For details on the annual event, visit www.mckinneytexas.org/RWB.
The refuse and recycling collections will change for the holiday. There will be no pick-up on Wednesday, July 4. Pick-up will slide one day for the rest of the week. Wednesday’s pick up will be on Thursday; Thursday’s on Friday; Friday’s’ on Saturday; and Saturday’s on Sunday.
The Old Settler’s Aquatic Center and Juanita Maxfield Pool at North Park and the Oak Hollow Golf Course will be open for normal operating hours on July 4 so residents and visitors can enjoy outdoor activities over the holiday weekend.
