Assault Arrest - June 7, 1900 Block N. Main St. Arresting Officer Cpl. Michael Stephens. A call for service was received in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival, officer's noticed a male subject in the yard bleeding from the facial area. The victim advised that he had been kicked in the face and upper body area. Officers observed the victim was bleeding profusely from his ear and it appeared that the upper portion of his ear was missing. The victim was able to tell officer's the name of the suspects. The victim was transferred to TMC for treatment. Officers then went to the suspect’s residence and knocked at the door, which met with negative results. While attempting to make contact at the residence, officers observed a motel room key lying on the front porch. A warrant for the suspect’s arrest was then obtained. Officers proceeded to the motel room that the key belonged to. Contact was made with the suspect in the parking lot of the motel. Officers observed blood on the suspect's white tennis shoes as well as several fresh scratches and abrasions on his arms and legs. The suspect was then placed in handcuffs and advised he was under arrest for Aggravated Assault Causing Serious Bodily Injury.

Arrest- June 15, 2000 Block SH 121 N. Arresting Officer Cpl. Richard Lundy. Based on a narcotics investigation contact was made with the suspect. A search was conducted of the suspect and a clear baggy containing a small amount of a green leafy substance was located in his front right pocket. A baggy of marijuana was also found in the vehicle. The suspect was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana <2oz and Delivery of Marijuana <1/4 oz.

DWI Arrest - June 18, 2000 Block Island Bayou Rd. Arresting Officer Sgt. Joshua Walker. A call for service was received to assist a Deputy on a traffic stop. While en route, officers were advised the driver was possibly intoxicated. Upon arrival contact was made with the driver. While speaking with the driver, officers could detect the smell of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the vehicle and the driver's speech was thick tongued and slurred. The driver was asked to step to the rear of his vehicle. The driver was then asked to complete a series of Standardized Field Sobriety Tasks, to which he was unable to successfully complete. A sample of the driver's breath was requested which resulted in a reading above 0.08. The driver was placed under arrest and charged with Driving While Intoxicated.

Arrest- June 19, 2200 Block Silo Rd. Arresting Officer Sgt. Tammy Boehler. A call for service was received in reference to criminal trespass of a habitation. Upon arrival, contact was made with the homeowner as well as the person suspected on trespassing. The homeowner advised he had a criminal trespass stating the suspect was not to be on his property. Bonham Dispatch confirmed they had a copy of the Criminal Trespass on file. The suspect was placed under arrest for Criminal Trespass Habitation.
