Lake of the Arbuckles: May 27. Elevation 1/4 ft. above normal, water 75 and clear on the main lake while stained up the creeks. Algae is present, especially on calm days. White bass are chasing shad in the open water near the dam and mouth of coves. use small wiggle tailed grubs & small crankbaits.. Crappie being caught on minnows and jigs around docks early morning an don chartreuse jigs at 15-30 ft. around brush piles. Channel catfish good on shrimp and punch bait. Blue River: May 22. Water 77 degrees, clear, normal level. Smallmouth and spotted bass fair on soft plastics and small spinners. Fish around structure in larger pools. Channel catfish excellent on chicken livers, stinkbait, and minnows fished around current in larger pools. Flathead catfish good on live sunfish fished around rocks. Broken Bow: May 20. Elevation normal, water clear. Largemouth, smallmouth and spotted bass being caught on flukes at 10-15 ft. around structure and timber. Catfish good on juglines and trotlines baited with cut bait and small sunfish. Crappie good on minnows and jigs in the upper end around structure and mouths of creeks. Eufaula: May 20. Elevation normal, water clear in the east and murky in the west. Largemouth bass good on crankbaits and spinnerbaits along rocky areas. White bass good on jigs below the dam when running water. Blue catfish good on various baits at 2-8 ft. along rocks and riprap. Hugo: May 27. Elevation 5 ft. above normal, water 68. White bass good on minnows and jigs in the river channel. Blue catfish good on cut bait below the dam. Crappie good on minnows and jigs along flooded timber and riprap in old creek channels and fair to good on jigs below the dam. Murray: May 22. Elevation below normal, water 75 and clear. Largemouth and smallmouth bass good to excellent on various baits. Channel catfish good on liver, shrimp and stinkbait. Texoma: May 27. Elevation 1 1/2 ft. below normal, water 73 and mostly clear. Largemouth and smallmouth bass good on plastic worms, crankbaits and spinnerbaits at 5-15 ft. around riprap and fish attractors. Striped and white bass good on live bait, sassy shad and some on surface lures at 5-20 ft. in the river channels. Channel and blue catfish good on live bait, worms and stinkbait at 10-20 ft. from Johnson Creek to Platter Flats. Crappie fair to good on live bait, shrimp and jigs and small lures at 10-20 ft. around the fish attractors and underwater brush piles. Sunfish good on worms, shrimp and small tube jigs at 5-10 ft. around the fishing docks. Paddlefish fair below the dam while generating.
