Bonham -- Mart Means has been selected as Artist of the Month at Bonham City Hall.  His work is currently on display at Bonham City Hall located at 514 Chestnut Street in Bonham.  You may also drop by Creative Arts Center at 200 West 5th Street in Bonham to see more of Mart's work.

A native Texan, Mart graduated from West Texas State University with a bachelor's degree in fine arts and then worked as a commercial artist. Means began painting seriously after moving to Bonham in 1986.

Though probably most often associated with watercolor landscapes, Means has recently discovered the versatility of acrylics and enjoys portraiture and the challenge of likeness.
