Fannin Literacy Council Helping Our People Excel (H.O.P.E.) Educational Program announces Annual GED Graduation

The Fannin Literacy Council is proud to announce that the annual GED graduation for the Helping Our People Excel (H.O.P.E.) Program has been set for Tuesday, June 5 at 6:30 p.m. The ceremony will take place at the Bailey Inglish School, 201 East 10th, Bonham, Texas. This graduation ceremony will honor those students that attained their GED (General Educational Development) diploma with support of the H.O.P.E. Program.

The H.O.P.E. Program teachers, Juanita Lance, Linda Long, and Fran Dobbs are scheduled to attend. Fannin Literacy Council President, Marsha Lindsey, will lead the graduation ceremony with Joyce McGehee, Program Director of Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), serving as keynote speaker.

Each successful candidate will receive a Certificate of Achievement. Graduate’s family and friends are invited to celebrate this achievement.

The Fannin Literacy Council offers the H.O.P.E. Program in both Bonham and Honey Grove. If you participated in this program, have attained your GED and have not been contacted, please call Ms. Lou Ann Taylor at 903-583-1264 so that you may participate in the ceremony.

All community supporters are also invited to attend this special event.
