Grapevine Pruning Workshop Wednesday March 7, 2012

The Texas AgriLife Extension Service, Fannin County Master Gardeners and Homestead Winery are hosting a Grapevine Pruning Workshop on Wednesday March 7, 2012 from 1-3 p.m. at the Homestead Winery, County Road 2041 in Ivanhoe, Texas.

Conducting the Seminar will be Fran Pontasch, Viticulture Advisor for Texas AgriLife Extension in the North Texas area.  Topics will include the purposes, basics and considerations to Grapevine pruning.  Be prepared for the weather.  Bring appropriate attire for being outdoors, and don’t forget your gloves and a warm hat. 

Registration is $15/ person which includes workshop, tour and refreshments.  Please R.S.V.P. to the Fannin County Extension Office at 903-583-7453.
