Bowie, TX – Steve Hamilton, Board of Directors Chairman, and Mickey Faulconer, President and CEO of Legend Bank N.A., announced the appointment of C. Todd Brown to the Legend Bank and Legend Bancorp Board of Directors.   

Mr. Brown currently holds the position of Chief Operating Officer at Energy Service Company in Bowie, TX.  In this capacity, Brown manages the Energy Service Co. division and the THI Water Well division.  Under Brown’s leadership, both divisions have seen improved financial performance, increased revenue and strengthened internal controls.  “Todd Brown has consistently demonstrated strong over-all business acumen, and will truly be an asset to the Board,” said Steve Hamilton, Board of Directors Chairman of Legend Bank N.A.   

With a degree from Texas State University in Agricultural Business, Todd Brown will step into the director role with a strong background in the banking and finance industry.  Coupled with his experience at Energy Service Company, his background includes nine years with Legend Bank, where he held the positions of Credit Analyst, IT Administrator, Commercial Loan Officer and Vice President.  Mickey Faulconer, President and CEO of Legend Bank N.A. stated, “We are looking forward to having Todd connected again in an official role with Legend Bank.  Todd understands Legend Bank’s rich history and he shares our excitement of what the future has in store for us.”

Mr. Brown is past president and current member of the Bowie Lions Club and the Bowie Jaycees.  He is also involved with several professional organizations, including the Fort Worth Wildcatters and the American Association of Drilling Engineers.  Mr. Brown, along with his wife Shea, and daughters Sophie and Stella, attend the First United Methodist Church in Bowie.
